More and more schools are turning to technology to help teachers teach and students learn. A flipped classroom is one type of new technology in education that is becoming increasingly popular. Teachers post their own videos where students can access them from home. Some teachers are also embracing text messaging in certain instances. Teachers are helping students to learn how to use blogs to document school projects, such as science experiments. Study materials and teaching resources can be made easily available for students and teachers in a given network to share and access, making learning and teaching even more accessible. Woodworking is a great metaphor for shaping and molding students. For the student, being a user should involve using the latest technology in a free and autonomous manner. Tracking a student means having the ability to target education toward weaknesses and strengths. Flow  educational curriculum and individual assessment is arbitrary at best. Further, imagine that every student can access all the knowledge of humankind freely at any moment in time. New technology won’t only allow us to receive an education, but also develop an education. To make this a reality we will need a standardized platform from which to develop a student's unique education. Learning will become a reciprocal experience between the student , the machine and the teacher.
The student will be the user, gathering resources, knowledge and skills in an efficient and measured sequence. The machine will do the work of data gathering and analysis, which will aid the teacher and student in refining the curriculum. In our current educational paradigm, the teacher is in value of arbitrarily constructing curriculum. Improvements in education slowly transitioned from apprenticeship to formal education and training. Access to Education 3.0 will only be gained through investment and universal standardization.
